Ellas Sassari - Monte Casteddu

We always come with great pleasure to this small place in the heart of Sassari. The owner of the house always welcomes you with his smiling eyes, you can see that that place really means a lot to him. And you can also see (and feel) it in the different dishes! We love mixed grill very much, but we often also have pita bread with either a vegetarian filling (even though I'm omnivorous, I love it) or a classic one. I generally don't like sweets, but I always get them here! Between honey and dried fruit, they are spectacular. The pita bread with Nutella is also worth trying! Finally, I underline the particular attention given to our 4-legged friends, who are always welcome (naturally if they are polite). Every time it's like going to a friend's house! And the value for money is also almost unbeatable! Vegetarian options: I love vegetarian pita bread, I always have it even though I'm omnivorous

We ordered two really excellent classic Greek pitas to take away. We thank the owner for his kindness. It's not the first time we've visited and it certainly won't be the last! See you soon!

Intimate and simple restaurant, excellent food and house wine. Among other things, one of the few places not to work a double shift on Saturdays, which we very much appreciate. Book in advance, because as it is not very large, places are limited. I will definitely return with great pleasure.
