We have a home in the area and visit La Terrazza often. Very many comments about its location omit the most important point that for a restaurant in the middle of Tuscany it provides a variety of seafood of higher quality than may coastal establishments and presentation and service is first class. We have never had a bad meal and the option of ordering top quality wines at only a small mark up is a bonus. It’s regrettable that it only opens for lunch at present.

We visited here due to these reviews and were not disappointed. We were staying in the centre of Montaione and this restaurant is only approximately 5 minutes away by car and very easy to find. The staff were very helpful and the food extremely tasty. I have to say I had the best Tiramisu here than anywhere else in Tuscany! We were lucky enough to be staying on a Saturday night when many of the local restauranteurs set up stalls in the streets of Montaione where you could purchase various courses and sample their food and wine. These could then be eaten in the main square where a group provided music. A competition was held for the best course and La Terrazza was selected the winner by local judges.

An unexpected treat, very good food and wine, and a welcoming host all made for a great dinner experience.

Pesce ottimo. Piatti vegetariani deliziosi. Tutto impiattato a regola d'arte. Una gioia per gli occhi e il palato.
