Jersey Mike's Subs - Monaca

First of all, this restaurant needs improved management and staff who understand how to interact with customers properly. This location of Jersey Mike’s has a serious problem with food theft. Almost every order, whether it’s through DoorDash or their online pickup, is at risk. They have no system in place to verify who is picking up food, which leads to stolen orders. While they do make the effort to remake the food, this issue goes beyond just replacing what was taken; it reflects a deeper problem with service and management. If they need to check my ID to ensure my food isn't stolen, I think that would be a reasonable solution. Many customers might not be on board with that idea, but I'm willing to give it a shot. I'm tired of having my food taken from me.

It's similar to Subway, but pricier, and you can't have your sub toasted. I wish I had been aware of that beforehand, as I'm pregnant and not allowed to eat cold cuts unless they're heated to 165°. The staff were friendly, but my roast beef sandwich was almost too dry to enjoy until I went and asked for some extra mayo packets. On the bright side, they have CREAM SODA on tap, and it's fantastic!

I was sticker shocked today when I ordered my sub. My first time being here and had no idea the price I would pay until my food was at the register. 23 dollars for a sub drink and chips. I was baffled.

These subs are great but a bit pricey. I always have a coupon but the coupon changed and it isn’t BOGO anymore so I come less often. I feel like it was busier when they had the BOGO coupon. Now you have to buy 2 drinks.
