Street Cafe 1521 - MODENA

We came here for a coffee stop as part of our Ferrari day tour. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere but if you need a toilet break from the driving it's not bad. The caffe latte and cappuccino were strong enough. The staff didn't speak much English though. Plenty of parking space out the front. They also sell a good variety of pastry if you are hungry.

We drove past and stopped for a quick bite. Four pastas were on order and each was excellent and clearly made fresh. Service was very friendly despite the language gap (our fault, not theirs). Nice pastries, Caprese salad looked great.

Stopped here just after getting off the motorway at Modena south. This fresh clean cafe, bakery, pastries, snack and cocktail bar offers a pleasurable break. The coffee was delicious, the cakes a dream and the staff so friendly and helpful that I would recommend stopping by there any time of the day. We bought some of their wonderfully fresh bread and special local breads too. Locals are really fortunate to have a place like that in their vicinity! (and what a beautiful toilette, Italian design at its best)
