Bidrage med feedbackThe food at this take-out place was always great, consistent taste, big portions and reasonable prices. The management has recently changed and I noticed some positive changes due to that. The best thing is that parathas are now available! Before you could only get them with a big catering order but this time they said it's on the everyday menu now which is awesome! They compliment their delicious seekh kababs beautifully Plus a HUGE difference in customer service! Lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful so was the gentlemen she said is the new owner. Keep up the good work guys! Best things to try from the menu:1) beef seekh kababs2) Paratha3) Biryani 4) beef samosas
I love their beef samosa... But their meat items to go are big-time ripoff!!! You get only 3-4 pieces of dark meat and LOTs of sauce to full up box :) hey guys, be reasonable.... You are charging $9 plus tax! Also you guys are way off the authentic wagon.... All ur items have big pieces of onions and bell papper? C'mon...
We have been multiple times, more out of desperation for a quick meal. The last takeout that we got was thrown in the garbage after a couple of bites. Overall, the restaurant is absolutely filthy. The dishes all taste exactly the same - like oil and heat. And the staff are so rude. My most memorable moment was when the man was filling up my curry dish, some spilled over the edge of the container. He wiped the spillage with his finger and then LICKED HIS FINGER before handing me the container. Seriously, this place is awful. Just avoid it and go ANYWHERE else.
Don't bother eating here, it is not authentic!I wanted to try as i normally go to bomb bay grill on main street because it is closer and i hadn't tried it yet. BAD MISTAKE! Not going to talk poorly about the food. But do your self a favour go over to bomb bay grill on main street and you will not be disappointed!!!
I'd love to give Cafe Zauq 4 stars but every time we get food from there (2-3 times a month)-- it's different! We get butter chicken every single time. Sometimes it's watery, sometimes more oily, sometimes super spicy and other times it's milder. I crave it constantly but I'm starting to get turned off because I don't know which version I'll be getting on my next order. The guys who work there are genuine, the naan is awesome. I would easily give the food 4 stars if it was always the 'version' of butter chicken I loved the best (thick, not too oily, not too spicy!)We've never dined there so I can't comment on that part of the experience.
