Bidrage med feedbackI ordered the fried mushrooms and the popcorn chicken bento, and both were excellent!
This restaurant is primarily a takeout spot, but there are two tables on the side where you can sit and eat. You can easily place your order using your smartphone by scanning a QR code, with an ordering station conveniently located in front. We tried the Treasure Rice Box (招财盒饭) for $15, which came with crispy roasted chicken. It was quite tasty and not at all dry, and the portion was generous. We also enjoyed the fried tofu (炸豆腐) for $8, which was excellent as well. Both dishes can be customized for your preferred level of spiciness.
Ordering was a bit confusing. I had to rely on another customer to explain the process since it wasn’t clear how to place my order. You can't enter the restaurant, and there were several signs instructing to scan a QR code to order, which added to the confusion. I noticed a tablet at the entrance, but I went with my gut and used the QR code, which turned out to be the right choice. They estimated my lunch would be ready in 10 minutes, but since they were busy, I didn't receive my meal until about 12 minutes later. When my lunch arrived, I was impressed with the generous portion—there wasn't a lot of steam, and it was perfectly sweet. I opted for the mild flavor, and they nailed it. I also ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba, which had just the right balance of sweetness, milk, tea, and boba. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my lunch. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it. This place is certainly one to keep in mind for my next visit when I'm looking to try something new. Here’s my rating: Price: B, Quality: A, Service: B (though there was no traditional service, the ordering process was quick once I figured it out, despite the lack of clear instructions).
As taiwanese this place is quite legit, the price is super good, as both the popcorn huh and huh xxl are huge in portions for 10 dollars. they allow them to adjust the seasoned and seasoned as well as the part of the huh! great place to try to go!
I am impressed with this place. I thought I would give this place a try since my plans changed for lunch today. I wanted something quick and cheap. Though this place was semi-quick and not so cheap $15 for popcorn chicken meal). I was impressed with the taste of my popcorn chicken AND the only place that I know that still serves basil with the popcorn chicken. The ONLY downside of this place was ordering the food. It was confusing as hell. Another customer had to explain to me how to order. No was allowed to enter the establishment and the instructions to order the food was confusing as hell. They had a tablet at the front door but so many signs around the restaurant that said to scan a QR code to start ordering. I went with my gut feeling and ordered through the QR code, which was the right step. The eta for my lunch was 10min. They were hecka busy so I didn't get my lunch till 12 min later. As to the lunch, it was impressive. Nice amount of steam rice and veggies but definitely good portion the right portion) for the popcorn chicken. I opted on mild and they gave me mild. I also ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba. It was the right amount of sugar/milk/tea/boba. Overall, I am pleased with my lunch. It was a bit pricey but I did pay for not just the chicken. Definitely a good lunch place to go to the next time I am craving for something new. The milk tea price was right and good portion. Price: A Quality: A Service: B no service what so ever but quick with the take out). Lack of clear instructions on how to order.
