Chef And Grill - Mid Devon

I recently enjoyed another tasty meal from Chef n Grill. Ordering was easy and the delivery was quick. The food was delivered hot and exactly as I had requested. The staff was friendly, polite, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered 2 donner wraps through the website. i waited an hour for them to turn up (i know it can be a busy period). they turned up stone cold. i rang the place and they said they didnt know what to do about it as there was no manager there at the time. they told me to ring back in 10 minutes when the manager arrived. i didnt have my call answered for nearly 45 minutes after that. they then said they would come colect the old food, take it back to the shop, then redeliver my order. by that time it would of been 2 hours minimum. i understand waiting time on food but i dont understand rude service down the phone because of a complaint due to poor food. i decided not to have my order delivered as i know it would be a waste of time let alone a waste of money. i will NOT be back. AVOID.

The food arrived promptly, but unfortunately, it was inedible. The doner tasted horrible and the chicken seemed to be fake. The salad was wilted and had a strange flavor. I called to complain, but the manager was unwilling to resolve the issue. I will be contacting the bank to request a full refund and will be warning my friends and family to avoid this place.

Our food was delivered two hours late. When we called the restaurant to inquire about the delay, they were rude and informed us that our order had not been put through. The man on the phone abruptly cancelled our order without offering any apology or explanation. We were disappointed with the poor service, despite the appealing food we had seen online. This experience ruined our evening and we will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Got my order through just eat it was delivered in time and the food was hot but the portion sizes where shocking when you pay £40 you don’t expect to be still hungry after it
