Terra Lecce - Merine Apulia

The experience started with a delicious appetizer that prepared my taste buds for a culinary journey. The caprese was freshly prepared. The tomatoes were juicy and very tasty, and there were two scoops of buffalo mozzarella. Each bite was a perfect combination of the tomatoes and tangy flavors of the cheese. As a main course I was able to enjoy the house's excellent pizza. The pizza was baked in a traditional oven and had a crispy yet fluffy crust that went perfectly with the rich toppings. Each bite was a feast for the senses and made me appreciate the craftsmanship behind every element of the pizza. To round things off, I was served the super delicious tiramisu. This traditional Italian dessert was a revelation. Each spoonful was a heavenly combination of airy mascarpone cream, soaked sponge cake and hints of coffee and cocoa. The consistency was perfectly balanced, and the taste was exactly what you would hope for in a top-notch tiramisu. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star for the ambience because it was very loud and very dragging.

Fine restaurant. Food with delicate and tasty flavors (at least as regards starters and first courses; I couldn't say anything about the pizza because we didn't take it).
