The Crooked Corner - Mentor-on-the-Lake

First off the owners are good heart warming people,its a cool little place it a bit of this and that starting with the sound studio to a nice oddity shop,tattoo parlor, a place where something new is happening all the time,you got an art gallery pcs done by Paris,bbq rubs and sauces by Thomas and now local honey if that's not enough to get ya interested then you always have the food truck on sight and the food is amazing.....so stop on down and check it out.

Not feeling like cooking, but still wanting something that isn't your typical fast food place but is delicious? This is your place. Our family of 5 all enjoyed the fare. We split 2 sloppy cow burgers, 2 pulled pork sandwiches, an order or potato pancakes, an order of fried pickles, and 2 orders of kraut balls. The servings were generous and everything was tasty! Even the pickier eaters in the family liked their meals. The owner clearly loves cooking and chatted while she prepared our meals. The burgers were made from fresh ground beef, so there is a little wait while everything cooked, but it was well worth the wait. There are picnic tables if the weather is nice. We went on a chilly fall evening and took our food to go, but it was still nice and warm by the time we got home. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu!

I've been to The Crooked Ćevap a few times since I first found out about it, and each visit has been met with super friendly staff and consistently amazing food. Whether it's the Loaded Taters Tots, the Ćevapi, the Onion Rings (the blooming onion dipping sauce on the side is a nice touch! , the Cabbage Rolls, or whatever fun weekly dinner special Heidi has cooked up, everything has been simply sublime!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly one of a kind, making it stand out from the rest. The quality of the food is exceptional, and you immediately feel like part of the family as soon as you step through the door.

Inside, the decor is incredibly varied and interesting. There's even a recording studio! Plus, there's a tattoo shop and a selection of unique, stylish gifts for sale. You absolutely have to check this place out! It’s a great spot to grab a meal, do some shopping, get a tattoo, or even record an album! It’s run by a lovely family who are warm and genuine, and they’ve created a unique experience that stands out from the typical big-brand stores we usually find. I absolutely love this place, and it’s such a special addition to Mentor-on-the-Lake!
