Church's Texas Chicken - Memphis

I stopped by to pick up some fresh chicken and was greeted by a friendly, smiling face. She even offered me a slice of apple pie through the window. She said, "Please come back; the chicken is really great!"

I had a frustrating experience at this drive-thru. It felt like they were intentionally making us wait a long time in hopes that we would leave because they're quite inattentive. I waited for an hour with only three cars ahead of me, and the only reason I didn't drive away was because there were cars behind me. I really wish they would just shut this location down; it's disappointing!

I discovered two hairs in my chicken dish, and I have a photo of one of them. It's quite difficult to see in the image, but it's the curved black line in the center near the top. I won't be returning to this location.

Food is really good here, but a full tank of gasoline is needed if you wait in the drive through.

I visited this location and, despite having some issues in the past, the service was friendly and the food was quite good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I was pleasantly surprised. Rating: 4/5.
