Sushi Sakura - Melbourne

Little poky cafe but quick service and a nice hot coffee or miso soup on a cold winters day. Extremely busy and inside was very crowded but otherwise a quick lunch.

I fell in love with their Beef udon soup! Very authentic. Udon was done properly, not too soft. Besides that, we also had some hand rolls, salmon bento, Tako Balls & Beef Rice. Tako ball was good. The rest were average. The Korean boss was very accommodating to our customized order and requests. Would visit again if I'm there shopping.

The service is always great here. This time, I stopped in during the afternoon and got some sushi (salmon, and tempura prawn). Price is pretty good (2.50-3.00 each). A little too much rice for my liking, but fillings are tasty. The were running low on options, but I also appreciate that they aren't over preparing, or holding on to product for too long. They also have a full menu to order from, and a kitchen to prepare hot dishes etc.I have noticed they also sell sushi super discounted later in the day. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Not the kind of place you would go to specifically, but a good option as you're passing through Harbour Town, and far away from the foodcourt hustle and bustle.

I cannot recommend their Miso soup more highly if you like Japanese Miso.I usually get the sushi but noticed Miso soup which I decided ages ago from a few bad experience elsewhere not to try again. I did however decide to try it and was amazed. Yum!The Bento box was huge and good value.Our food came to us quite quickly.The staff were incredibly kind.

I called in after a tiring morning of shopping. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the guy at the service counter was very helpful in making suggestions and recommendations. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. There was gluten free and vegetarian options too. It was quite relaxing too, not too noisy like some places.
