Platform 270

Stayed here for a staycation and ate here on the first night. The spices cauliflower with wild rice, chickpea and herbs were so delicious, that I craved for it the next day! The $5 happy hour for house beer, wine and spirit is a nice...touch. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken burger and found it average though.

We decided to enjoy some small bites with a wine on our first nights stay at this hotel, and so glad we did. The food is really good. We shared hommus with marinated chick peas and grilled flat bread, grilled haloumi (really tasty) and a...delicious cheese platter (great combination of flavours). We enjoyed the food so much, we decided to dine again the following night, where we both had really nice mains (my baby squid salad was super delicious) accompanied with a nice red wine. The wait staff are super friendly. Really enjoyed both our evenings at Platform 270. Made our stay really special.

Been here a couple of times over the past week. Has a great happy hour 5pm to 8pm for $5 beers and wine. Staff are great and happy to bring drinks to your table rather than line up at bar. Food is standard pub fair...of good quality. It would be nice however to see the menu expanded slightly. I will be back over the next few nights for a few more drinks and a feed.

We r on the low carb thing so went for small bites and sides. Apparently the menu was 2 weeks old and I can say it was unbelievably good. The price too, absolutely acceptable. Innovative, delicious, not too small. Attentive staff. Friendly and spacious dining...room. So nice having a change from packed popular dining which seems to be the theme these days. Highlight. The twice cooked pork jowel tostadas. Absolutely perfect. Don’t change a thing ordered two serves !!!
