Bluestone Lane Venice Beach Café

We ordered ahead for pickup but arrived a little early. Elijah was great and kindly offered us complimentary water and seating as we waited. Once our food was ready shortly, we decided to dine-in because their outdoor seating was welcoming. We ate the Egg Athlete?s Burrito and Chicken Wrap and it was delicious with great portion size!

The food was delicious! I liked the ricotta pancake, burger and avocado toast. They also packed the food well for delivery, and the service in person was also not bad. However, it can be a bit pricy, and the wait time in person after ordering in the machine kiosk was pretty long ~30 min on a weekday morning)? Overall, it?s a good experience. For pickup, there?s a public parking space nearby, so parking shouldn?t be an issue.

I returned for lunch and noticed they don't hold back on ingredients, though I think some items were a bit overpriced. The signature coffee didn't impress us, and they missed an additional poached egg we ordered. The food sat on the counter right in front of us, and no one brought it to the table until we pointed it out. However, I would definitely go back for the avocado toast—it's fantastic!

The location and atmosphere are lovely, and the outdoor seating is quite enjoyable. The service was friendly, and the food was generally good; however, I wish it had been served warmer when it arrived at the table. The smoothie was excellent, but the regular coffee could have been better—I found it wasn't warm enough, either. I also felt that the prices were on the higher side.

Charming little café with great coffee! I tried the Oat Milk Flat White with Vanilla, and it was quite good. They use Califia Farms oat almond milk, making it a great option for those who are lactose intolerant or prefer dairy-free alternatives. My partner ordered the iced Milo, which had a scoop of ice cream at the bottom, but he wasn't particularly fond of it. There's a self-ordering screen at the front, though it can get busy quickly. Plenty of seating available both inside and outside.
