Avoid visiting this restaurant on a Saturday. Their voicemail states they are open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 10 PM, but that is not accurate. I'm not sure about Thursday or Friday, but they are definitely closed on Saturdays. We really miss this place—it had the best food!

Don't bother driving out here. If you call, they'll tell you they're open. We made the trip from Waxahachie to Maypearl for their Thursday night catfish special, only to find them closed. There was a thick layer of dust on the windows and doors.

I haven't had the opportunity to dine here yet. I drove 30 miles to give it a try, only to discover that it was closed due to COVID. I recommend updating your Google information, as it still indicates that you're open.

I absolutely adore this charming little restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, making it perfect for a date night as well as family outings. Their steaks are enormous, thick, and incredibly delicious—I was truly impressed! The chicken fried steak comes in a close second in terms of flavor. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I used to rate this place 4 stars because the catfish and steaks were amazing. However, it seems they've started sourcing their steaks from Brookshire Bros grocery down the street, and the quality isn't the same. Please return to your original supplier so we can enjoy dining here again!
