The Broken Spur Steak And Seafood

Hubby and I shared an anniversary dinner here this week. Found the restaurant in a Dells Dining Guide that is available at locations all over the Dells. So glad we stopped in. Bartender, hostess and server were all very friendly. Our Oscar Ribeyes were perfect! The signature drinks we chose were tasty! The decor inside was perfect! We checked out the hotel lobby (that the restaurant is attached to) after dinner and thought it reminded us of a hotel in the Yellowstone National Park, very cool!

Wonderful food. Large portions and waitstaff were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Will go back again.

Servings were very generous! Walleyes were very good as well as the cod. French dip was huge!

There aren't a lot of decent sit-down restaurants in the area. This is one of the better ones, but that's not saying much. The place seemed a bit understaffed, and it took about 30 minutes for our group to get drinks. We had a larger table, so understandably, not all the food is going to come out at the same time, but some of the meals were sitting under the heat lamps a bit too long because a couple of us got burned by touching the plates. The food was ok, but it felt a bit overpriced for what you got. I ordered the boasted chicken (super dry) and ribs (those were alright).Staff was very nice, but it wasn't the best experience.Kid-friendliness: Solid kids menu.

Great restaurant. Quality food and I love the design of the place.
