Arco De Triunfo De Barcelona - Mataró

A marvelous entrance to a great way for bikes, walking and for dogs, the arch itself is imposing but not worth to spend much time there, since the parks nearby are more interesting and worthwhile. Also it's not as breathtaking as the similarly named arch from Berlin. The colours and statues are as the photos display, so nothing surprising here.

It's pretty. You can chill on the grass nearby if you want to.

Beautiful architecture, and the parc after it is so interesting. Recommended for all ages. Can be visited for a picnic, a nice walk or a canoe ride in the lake.

The Arc de Triomf is a monument located in the centre of Barcelona, Spain. Architect Josep Vilaseca I Casanovas designed it as the gateway to the Universal Exhibition fair at Parc de la Ciutadella in 1888. It's near the Passeig de Sant Joan, at the northern end of the promenade. The sun, weather, and people I met here were all wonderful throughout my vacation. I would advise any tourist to pay a visit to this lovely location.
