Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is in a great location with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing and our server was excellent. I highly recommend the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Cuban Sandwich. The price per person was between $10-20 for lunch. Overall, everything was top-notch with a perfect score of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.
We had a fantastic first experience at 21North. The staff treated us like royalty as we celebrated two birthdays, and the food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The chef was accommodating to dietary restrictions, and the service was excellent. We had dinner and the price per person was between $50-100. We highly recommend trying the House Salad and their Special dish.
We made a quick stop on our way to Michigan around 2:30pm. The restaurant was not very crowded and we were served promptly. We ordered a burger and fish and chips, both of which were delicious, hot, and well-seasoned. Finding parking was easy and the customer service was good. Overall, we would rate the meal as a 5 out of 5 for both the food and service. The atmosphere also received a 5 out of 5 rating. We highly recommend trying the Beer Battered Fish Chips and the Sakura Farms Wagyu Burger. The price per person ranged from $30 to $50.
We discovered 21 North Eatery on Yelp while visiting town for a high school football game. We enjoy finding hidden gems that are locally owned, and this restaurant definitely fits the bill! From the drinks, starters, and entrees, everything was exceptional and deserving of 5 stars. The bartender was attentive and made excellent drink recommendations. The Smoked Bulleit cocktail was a perfect blend of smoky flavors with a hint of bourbon. The Chicken Potstickers were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The broccoli cheese soup surpassed our expectations with its rich taste. The Hunny chicken sandwich was expertly cooked, and the hot honey added a delightful mix of sweet and spicy flavors. The fish and chips were crispy and perfectly cooked, and the truffle parm fries were a memorable side dish. Despite a previous review mentioning high prices, we found the prices to be very reasonable and well worth it for the quality of food served. We are already looking forward to returning and booking a private dinner at the Chef's Table. If you find yourself in or near Martinsville, this restaurant is a must-visit!
Our food was fabulous(potstickers, chicken salad, and wagyu burger were spot on) but the experience was detracted from by our poor service. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and irritated when the restaurant wasn't even half full and was shared by another waitress who seemed delightful. Ours ignored us for the first 15 minutes and then was put off that we wanted an appetizer first instead of ordering our food and drinks all at once. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but then we watched her yell at the bartender in the middle of the dining area and then another one of her tables walked out after waiting 20min without even seeing her. We thoroughly enjoyed the food but seeing as this is the second time we've had poor service, we most likely won't be back unless we just order to go... hopeful to here in the future they turn it around.
