Great handcrafted sodas and sandwiches (although a bit heavy-handed with the spicy mustard on the pastrami sandwich)! Service was top notch, the workers were very patient with us even though we were there during close. They were also sweet enough to give us free cookies!

For as much as I’d love to give them 5/5, their atmosphere is pretty tight and uncomfortable. I’ve only sat in once and that was both my first and last time. Pretty small complaint, as far as reviews go. However. I frequent this location because I live within biking distance, and every time I place an order to go there’s nowhere comfortable for me (or anyone else waiting) to sit or even stand. I’ve waited outside before, but then missed my name being called multiple times. They need a page system of some sort.I’m also pretty disappointed with how they’ve handled my drinks to go the last couple of times. No drink carrier (when my hands are already full) and when I ask for a beverage without ice, instead of filling it to the brim, they fill it halfway. Literally. Picture included on this review. Listen—if a customer is paying $6 for one of these drinks, please just fill it up to the brim. To do otherwise is baffling. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

I'm sad to say that I was a bit disappointed. The quality of the ingredients was great, but the temperature of the food is what I had an issue with. The pretzel would have been perfect if it had been baked about 2 minutes less and if it had been served warm. You have a choice of butter or mustard with your pretzel. I chose butter and was expecting a warm pretzel with melty butter and instead I was served a cold pretzel and cold butter. Our food came very quickly and I would have preferred to wait an extra 2 minutes to get warm bread. The sandwich was good, but again, could have been better if the bread had been warm.

Wow .. was in town with the family and ordered Loafers for lunch. I had the Turkey ,Bacon Bianca ! Oh my. Tasty , fresh and one of the best Sandwiches I have had. The potatoe salad was also very good . If u go to STL u need to make this a stop.

Have been here twice and both times were awesome. The chicken and rice soup is SO GOOD! Bread is so yummy, highly recommended.
