Food was excellent, service was slow, for food and drings refills, not sure if they were short staffed.On the back diningroom for some reason it gets very loud.

I really only had 2 drinks and the loaded pub chips appetizer, but everything was good. The patio is a great spot and water feature is a great setting. Price was decent also. Would love to go back and try more things.

Went there on a Thursday night before a show for some pre drinks and food. I was very pleased with everything. The server was helpful and very friendly. I got a flight of beer and every beer was great! I got the pretzels for an app and they were warm and perfect to pair with the beer. I had the pot roast for an entree and it was so delicious. I can’t wait to go back to get it again. Also their hand cut fries are great. I appreciate a place when they take the effort to hand cut the fries. Also I tried a few of my friends spirits and they were very good as well.

We were visiting from Seattle and were trying to find vegetarian and vegan options for my wife and daughter. Wonderful staff, great food and such a neat variety of brews. Met the owner and he gave us a brief history of how it all evolved to what it is now. Vegetarian options: Gluten free bread Kid-friendliness: My kids were welcomed and that was a big help for us visiting Saint Louis.

So much delicious ?. I had the bacon brat smashburger with cheesy jalapeno grits with bread pudding for dessert. The burger was juicy and flavorful and the grits were perfect without too much heat. We shared 3 flights, all of the bourbons were amazing and each was very distinct. I very much enjoyed the Vermont night, I could imagine a cozy fall/winter night sitting beside a fireplace sipping this one. Just delightful. The absinthe was another standout for me, if you like absinthe or haven't tried it yet, but like black licorice this should be on your must try. And their brews, I just want to say they know what they're doing. The scotch ale was quite tasty( not a wee heavy) don't expect the the thikness, loved the irish stout, maple stout and this is a new one for me a double imperial barrel aged pilsner, wow! If you are in STL, give Square One a try, you won't be disappointed. Tip, you may need to make reservations.
