Kuroneko Japanese Bistro - Maple Ridge

The food was incredible! It was so fresh, with the rice cooked perfectly, and the flavors were delightful. The packaging for our delivery order was impressive, and they even added a little piece of fruit as a garnish! On top of that, they included a really thoughtful note. I'm very pleased!

Located at the intersection of BC1E and Golden Ears Way, Kuroneko Japanese Bistro offers budget-friendly omakase. The highlight here is undoubtedly the omakase; where else can you find a place that serves omakase for under $20? The omakase itself featured 11 pieces of nigiri, which included a selection of basic fish along with tamago, all beautifully presented with various garnishes. The other dishes were also delightful. I definitely think it’s worth taking a trip to this spot every now and then!

The food was delivered quickly and was excellent. The staff recognized that our group had dined here previously, which made the experience even better. As the newcomer, I only needed to show my covid passport and government-issued ID.

My first time trying this sushi place this evening and I am beyond impressed.The presentation of the food was on point, I've never seen sushi put together the way they did in the container, and with the little note attached so cute! It tasted delicious, I ordered Gyoza, California and Tuna roll. I will definitely be back.

Best salmon/tuna donburi I've had in the lower mainland. Great rice, fish is fresh and cut nicely and a great price. Can't believe such good quality sushi exists in Maple Ridge.
