Ruffrano's Hell's Kitchen Pizza Manitou Springs

Small funky pizzeria. Totally amazing New York style pizza. Seriously

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Ruffrano’s Hell’s Kitchen, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The owner’s rude attitude set a terrible tone for the entire visit. The food was mediocre at best—my pizza was bland and garlic knots were just bad bread. The tables and floors were filthy, making me question the overall hygiene of the place. To top it off, the service was abysmal; cashier was inattentive and seemed annoyed whenever we asked for anything. As if things couldn’t get worse, I overheard the owner complaining to other customers about our party not tipping well. Given the awful service we received, it’s no surprise the tip reflected our dissatisfaction. I won’t be returning to Ruffrano’s Hell’s Kitchen, and I’d advise others to steer clear if they value good food, cleanliness, and decent service.

I recently had an utterly disappointing experience here. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this establishment was going to be a letdown. First and foremost, the pizza was a complete disaster. It arrived at our table cold, which is inexcusable for any restaurant, let alone a pizzeria. The crust was limp, and the toppings were sparse and tasteless. The sauce lacked any semblance of flavor, and the cheese was rubbery and unpleasant. The garlic knots, which should have been a highlight, were more akin to the smell of rancid garlic. It was one of the most unappetizing pizzas I’ve ever had the misfortune of tasting. The service was equally abysmal. The staff were incredibly rude from the start, making several snide comments about us. When it came time to pay, they openly criticized us for not leaving a substantial tip (apparently18% for a pizza for two people is cheep) implying that anything less than 50% was unacceptable. To add insult to injury, they complained about us to the other table in the restaurant, which was both unprofessional and offensive. No wonder no one else came into this restaurant the whole time we where there. Overall, my experience at Hells Kitchen Pizza was horrendous. The food was gross and flavorless, and the service was atrocious. I strongly advise against eating here. There are plenty of other places where you can get a decent meal and be treated with respect. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. It is clear that either these review are paid for, the service and quality and substantial decreased, or people have lost their minds about what a restaurant should be. Hells type of pizza indeed. The devil himself wouldn’t force the worst of people to eat at this dump.

Unique place to eat while in Manitou! The pizza was great!

I’m not a fan of this tipping generation when not being waited on, however hands down this is some of the best pizza ever. I always get it to take home when I’m in Manitou. Can’t wait for more!
