I hadn’t visited this place in many years, but since my usual spot was closed, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the classic fish and chips, and I was pleasantly surprised. The chips were excellent, and the fish was large with a tasty batter. It had an unusual, long and skinny shape, but the flavor was spot on. I also appreciated that they haven’t raised their prices, unlike many other takeout places. As of now, they still offer fish and chips for $2 each. Additionally, they operate as a traditional fish shop, where you can pick any fish from the display to be cooked, although that comes at a higher price.

The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. I usually call ahead to place my order, and it’s always ready for me when I arrive. The food consistently tastes amazing, and the fish is never greasy! We also frequently order the burgers, like the steak, steak, egg, and Hawaiian. They're always delicious. I love having this local gem!

I frequently visit this restaurant for their $10 special and the $6 special featuring the battered mussels. They are consistently delicious and a fantastic value!

The local fish chip shop in Mangere Bridge is a definite go to for a cheap, quick and easy feed. With their awesome crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside chips, bomb as battered mussels and fish, you can't go wrong. The fresh seafood produce in the window display ain't to shabby either. Of all the fish and chip shops in the Mangere Bridge district, this place tops them all.

This place is one of our locals and our go to fish and chip shop when we don't feel like cooking. It may not be the fanciest of Hangouts, but we love their fresh snapper and fries! Always crunchy batter and beautifully cooked fish simple and delicious!
