Bidrage med feedbackWe wandered in here on the basis of a good score on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. As many of the reviews indicate it is very popular with locals and that was the case on our visit. We ate well off the menu which included a few very interesting selections. The restaurant is also famed for its snails and tripe.
My sister and I ate at Los Hidalgos for a late lunch on February 24. The food was fresh, the service really nice, and the price just right. We split three half portion sized plates of fried fish, fried boquerones, and croquettas, and I also had the fish soup and a beer. That was quite enough for us. The treat of house made vermouth afterward was a perfect ending to the meal. This place seemed to be beloved by the locals, and it was easy to understand why. Apart from the simple, but good food, the place decor and staff vibe make you feel at home. It was a stark contrast to the ultra crowded tourist tapas spots around the corner. I’m looking forward to coming back here next time I am in Malaga.
Food, service and drinks....five stars (small hidden restaurant with great food, smiley people and nice atmosphere) I would recommend it to all of my friends.
This place was very nice. It is a hole in the wall that resulted to have authentic Málaga food with a good and friendly service. The proces are very reasonable. Go before 9:15 pm as it gets busy.
Nos encantó está taberna que encontramos por casualidad. la atención fue perfecta y fueron super amables. la comida estaba para chuparse los dedos, estaba todo de 10! lo recomiendo 100% si pasa por málaga.
