Phillypinas: The Artisanal Cheesesteak

Did I like it? A bit. My boyfriend and I haven't got the chance to try any of their Cheesesteaks because all were sold out at the time we came so we just settled for the Fish Fillet, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and Poutine. All the viands were a bit salty but we still enjoyed the food.  Is it affordable? Yes. For 150-160 per rice topping I guess it's fairly priced. Will I come back? I have yet to try their Cheesesteaks so yes. :)

Tried their sausage pasta one night since I think I am running out of creative food ideas for my usual lunch fix. For P145 a plate, the serving was a little on the lighter side, and they could've heaped on the sausages at least. The sauce was flavorful though, and quite appetizing. Will come back and try their nachos and their signature philly sandwiches. Another day, another lunch break, perhaps.

One of the best resto in this place! HUGE serving and good food! I must say the best part of their cheesesteak aside from the tenderness and tasty beef, is their bread that really goes with the filling. It is crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside! And filled with all these beefy and cheesy goodness! Sarap!!! And also, they have interesting pastas and side dishes that is best pair with their cheesesteaks! Plus big serving of shakes. Love it! Definitely will go back ! ❤️

I think this place has been on soft launch for more than a week already and even so, it should not be an excuse in making customers wait for too long (considering that the place wasn't that jam-packed). We came first among the other customers, but our food was served last. The Crispy Pork (without egg because apparently they ran out of stock of it) and pasta dishes tasted bland and the rest of the food we ordered were of ordinary taste. The staff was a bit confused, as we were served with the wrong food. Customer experience is not that good here.

Phillypinas: The Artisanal Cheesesteak. Based on the name, interiors, menu design, and the prices, I had high expectations for this place. The beef was just average, both in flavor and texture. And I could do with less bread. Oh well, at least one has options in this area when one tires of Tapa King or Binalot. facebook.com
