Shenanigans at the Imperial - Maitland

The rooms are very clean & smell nice & fresh with heaps of old world charm. The staff are all super friendly & the guy that showed us to our room made us feel very welcome. It's a share bathroom like most pub accommodation but both times we have stayed there I have it to myself & it is spotlessly clean. Hank said the same about the mens bathroom. Nice pub with great food & drinks.

Had a large booking and were pleased to be placed in the side room. The food was pretty good considering the large group and all came out pretty quick. The team did a great job looking after us and recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a good feed and good value for money.

I had lunch here & enjoyed my meal. Service was very good & staff friendly & courteous. Good sized meal for the price

First visited this place in June 2016 whilst on a business trip and have returned a year later for another business trip. First stop was Shenanigans so safe to say my first experience was memorable! Would most certainly recommend to anyone who is after a drink/meal in a relaxed environment.

If you are looking for a counter-meal style pub lunch then this isn't a bad place to come, although you might end up with something a little more fancy than you expected.There is a cheap lunch menu option and a comprehensive dinner menu. Atmosphere is nice and there are a variety of seating options including booths, larger tables, well lit tables and even an outdoor balcony area.The lunch risotto is very nice and a good portion, the lunch nachos taste amazing, but i'd steer clear of the chorizo hot dog as it's a bit greasy and not that great on flavour.
