State Line Diner - Mahwah

The food was typical diner food, but worse. My omlette was overcooked and falling apart. The pancakes were dry and hard. No fluff and didn't taste good. Still using high fructose syrup and no maple. The gentleman that helped us was cool, but I really hope the food gets better. You can't rely on 80 year old crowds forever. Literally.

Went at peak time..place was quite busy...too many tables for the amount of spaçe Parking: Parking was ample but spaces tighť

Classic diner with a 19 page menu. Our food was good and served quickly. The only issue was the cheesecake wasn't NY style, thick and heavy, though I asked. Overall though, a can't miss place.

NJ diners have come a long way... this diner has a hefty selection of foods that are delicious with generous portions, and the waitress is quick and friendly

The food was ok at best. The wait staff seemed uninterested in any sort of customer service. Other staff were either on the phone or just acted like they didn't want to be there. The chicken avocado sandwich was made with an unripe tomato, under ripe hard avocados with the skin left on them. Wheelchair accessibility: Good access to the building, but once inside, with the sheer number of chairs and tables it would be very hard for a person in a wheelchair to get around.
