Salween River - Mae Hong Son

A more upscale restaurant for Thailand with a mixed menu from west, thai and shan. we have the pad thai and khao soi as well as the shan potato cake. it was all very delicious and beautifully presented. the restaurant is located right next to the lake also what is a nice place to visit at night.

Only good things to say about this place! The staff knows what vegan is and prepared us delicious currys every night. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and the prices were great because the portions were big! Would highly recommend! They have free wifi. Although they have signs saying not to bring outside food or drink because they will charge you 50baht per item. As well as if you want to charge your devices they will charge you per hour. Try the Green Curry and the Burmese Salad AMAZING!

I don't know why this place is so high. we had to wait about 1.5 hours for food (also for salate) and when it came it was very disappointing. the potato cakes and early rolls driped oil, and my dish, with cashew nuts and steamed rice, was tasteless and the sauce was more of a strange oily goo (very oily). would not come back or recommend this place.

Asked for a red curry and a pumpkin soup! it was very good!

We tried sweet curry and potato cake and we didn't like it. the curry didn't taste like curry at all and it was too oily and the cake was only potatoes in brothcrumbs with too sweet sauce.
