Baia Beach Club - Machico

Sitio muito agradável para um fim de tarde ou mesmo durante o dia, mas com serviço muito péssimo... os empregados passam por nós e "fazem" que não nos vêem, sendo necessário chamar para sermos atendidos.

We had visited Machico for the day whilst staying in Funchal. We had been driving around the island all morning and parked near Baia Beach Club on arrival. The smell was good and we were hungry so decided to not search around for a place...to eat, but really wish that we had. The service was friendly and polite, but incredibly slow. It was lunch time so we both ordered toasties, they looked very tasty on the menu. When they came however, they were barely edible; the bread had not been toasted, the cheese that topped the sandwich was slightly melted, but the fillings were cold and frankly tasteless. The chips that accompanied were cold and undercooked. All in all, very disappointing.

Fish and chips, fish was baked in the round somewhat from a package, although chips were edible that the fish was not. do not order fish and chips instead have the shy fish. when complaining to waitress and asking why not use scrub fish for...the fish and chips, she told her boss said divorce is too expensive, although the difference between the two directed on the menu is only avoid € 0.50!

Lovely location right by the harbour. Friendly staff. Good menu. Be aware the pizza's are very filling. Saw a few people take away the remains!! Friendly service. Would definitely come again should we ever return.

Grilled steak tastes and smells very bad. caesar salat with huh seems to be made from the rest.
