My husband enjoyed a delicious homemade venison pie with chunky chips, while I savored a tasty queen scallop cuckoo dish with a crispy pommes salad and zesty dressing. For dessert, I had rhubarb tea, sorbet, and a hidden cream. The food was all delicious, wholesome, and authentically prepared, and the staff were very friendly. I just wish this restaurant was closer to where I live.

Today we had lunch and drinks at this restaurant. We ordered the kids fish and chips, which were perfect - very fresh with the batter cooked just right. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and also dog and child friendly. The drink selection was impressive and the place was clean. There is a beer garden outback and the staff were friendly. Parking was a bit of a challenge when we went on a Friday at 2pm, but it's manageable during busy times. We definitely want to come back and try something else from their main menu.
