Timber Creek Grill - Louisburg

I had seen some reviews mentioning that the restrooms weren't clean. While the bathrooms could use some improvement, they weren't terrible. I'm not going to judge the restaurant based on that because I didn’t come here for the restrooms, and I've encountered similar situations in many bars. Overall, we really enjoyed our dining experience. We also took a step out the back door to relax on the spacious deck that wraps around the place, where we could enjoy views of the woods and creek. If we’re ever in this area again, we would definitely love to try more from the menu.

Our waitress was friendly and engaging, but the food was just average, so we'll need to try something different from the menu next time. We both opted for the special, which was a Reuben sandwich. I suspect it was the special because the corned beef was past its prime; it appeared rather dull in color. The coleslaw I ordered as a side was quite good, though. My husband chose tater tots, but they were excessively salty, so we sent those back and he ordered the fresh apple sauce instead. I don’t usually comment on restrooms, but the ladies' room was quite disappointing, reminiscent of a truck stop.

I recently enjoyed the best pork tenderloin sandwich I've had in ages! It was tender, flavorful, and generously sized with a crispy coating. The service was outstanding as well, thanks to our excellent waitress!

Everything from the food to the service and the ambiance was top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better lunch experience!
