This pub used to be a proper old-school east-end boozer filled with locals from round the estate*, until earlier this year when it closed for renovations

Brilliant Sunday evening atmosphere, attentive staff, good wine list, good selection on beer and fantastic food. Live music from 7 o'clock finished a brilliant afternoon.

Steak night was really delicious and excellent. would definitely recommend and revisit.

Perfect birthday party everything was spot on .... that was amazing that I had the fish special and the sauce was delicious, our waiter was very attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was beautiful. a wonderful night we will soon come back to taste the rest of the menu!

A busy pub with many customers and slightly cramped, but more than with the excellent food and full table service for eating and drinks. the staff is very nice and very helpful.
