The Drawing Rooms at The Ampersand

We received a warm welcome at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly. The variety of food exceeded our expectations, and the science theme added a special touch. The savory items were more enjoyable than traditional finger sandwiches, and the pastries were delicious. Overall, this was the best Afternoon Tea we have ever had, and we have had many in the past.

The service at this restaurant was truly outstanding - the staff was kind and very attentive.

I took my 9 yr old granddaughter and she loved the activities especially making the lemonade at the beginning. I thought the quality of my food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. My only comment would be a better choice of savoury food on the children's menu. The sandwich was good but not so the hot dog. Maybe offering a choice of another kind of sandwich/sausage roll/pizza might be worth considering. But that did not take away the overall enjoyment of the afternoon.

Had a fantastic time with close friends at this restaurant. The afternoon tea was both fun and unique, and they were very accommodating towards allergies and intolerances. The service was helpful and flexible, even allowing us to change our start time. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
