This restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance paired with delicious food, cocktails, and wine. I enjoyed the marmite éclair, the baked truffled Tunworth with pear chutney (which I shared), and the beef fillet steak served with skinny fries and a side salad. I paired my meal with Nutbourne Bacchus wine, which complemented the cheese wonderfully. The service was top-notch, and the steak was cooked to perfection.

I had an incredible experience at Nutbourne last night. The ambiance and decor were lovely, especially the church stools that I absolutely adored. The food was worth every penny—flavorful and outstanding. I was particularly impressed with the new potatoes with pesto; they were simply amazing. I will definitely be returning!

We went for brunch today and the food was exceptional—everyone had the trout, and the ingredients were of excellent quality and incredibly fresh. The setting was beautiful, right by the boats. However, what made our experience even better was our waiter, whom we believe was named Abel. The other waitress, who was new, was also fantastic. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return soon!

Wow what a fantastic restaurant, beautiful Sussex wine and Sussex fillet steaks cooked on the open grill . In the the most beautiful setting . Thank you Abel and all the brilliant team .

My friend and I were here for dinner and loved this place! It has a cosy atmosphere and a great menu. Everything we ordered was so tasty and the wine was superb. Service was attentive and the owner came chatting with us and was very friendly. I am sure when weather permits sitting outside by the canal is a real gem. We will come back!
