Afternoon Tea in the Conservatory at The Chesterfield Mayfair

Butlers restaurant serves excellent quality food, with attentive staff, in beautiful traditionally English surroundings. A fantastic evening. Thank you!

The scallops were chewy, the main course was not hot enough, the fish course was slightly overcooked, aside from that the tastes were excellent and service absolutely fantastic. We would definitely go back and give it another chance.

The staff at this hotel were lovely but the service was slow and chaotic. The sandwiches were nice but the scones and patisserie were so sickly sweet we left most of it. The children ate hardly anything except the 50g included pick and mix. The rest was too sickly for them. We were charged the full 15% service charge despite long waits and constant hassling for things missed off the table. I wouldn’t recommend sadly.

Really pleased with the variety. Special kids afternoon tea and also offered vegan and gluten-free options. This meant every member of our party could enjoy the treat.

Staff were friendly but when it got busy it was hard to get their attention. The food was very disappointing- everything was too sweet and not enough savoury things. The sandwiches were below average. We were seated outside in the conservatory which was rather dull and not very pretty.
