First timer. Walking in I noticed a sign at the door that said “pozole verde”. We are from Guanajuato and I was excited to get some for my mother as it was a cold day. I love the colors, lighting and atmosphere. It took a while to get our drinks let alone our food. When my mother received her pozole it was quite disappointing as it was more of a thick stew than a soup. Basically it looked like meat and white maiz dumped into a bowl of green salsa.
