Bidrage med feedbackThere was a bit of a wait, but with food this delicious, it's totally worth it. I genuinely believe this place deserves to be featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" or whatever that show is called!
Only place around we found with great food while in town the past few days! The ribs burgers were smoked delicious. Best BBQ sauces ever! And please try the lemon leche cake. I'm picky about desserts it was amazing.
First time. Classic smoked meats and similar foods. Big helping of sweet potato fries. Nice selection of beers.
As someone from the South who has grown up with authentic Southern BBQ, I have to say that this place's rendition of BBQ is downright offensive to anyone who appreciates true barbecue. I ordered half a rack of ribs—definitely not baby backs—along with a side of sauce, and an order of “Texas Brisket.” To be honest, the ribs looked like they were zapped in the microwave and then tossed onto a skillet for about 30 seconds; there was no seasoning to speak of. It seems like they rely on the sauce to make up for the lack of flavor in the cooking process. The brisket was as tough as cardboard, with just a hint of smoke and some seasoning, which is a small consolation. The fries were disappointing and were practically buried beneath the BBQ; I appreciate the effort, but it missed the mark. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Honestly, you should consider removing "Carolina" from your name because it feels disrespectful to us, or significantly improve your BBQ. Shaking my head.
Drove from Columbus to try them out. Appetizers were awesome. Overall food and service was average.
