Dahlia Cafe - Liberty Hill

Our first impression of the restaurant was very positive. There’s ample parking and a lovely outdoor dining area, which was perfect on that cool October morning. Although it was quite busy, the staff remained attentive and organized, and we only had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. Once at our table, the service was fast. Our server was a friendly young man who was patient while I asked my usual questions about substitutions—I asked if I could swap the biscuits and gravy for pancakes, and he answered politely and directly, which I really appreciated. Choosing the pancakes was definitely the best decision; they were among the best I’ve ever had! I was also thrilled to see blueberry sausage on the menu. Now, about the pie—after all, that was the reason we chose this place. Even though we were quite full after our meal, we couldn't resist ordering a slice, and let me tell you, I’ll be returning just for the pie alone!

Great Food Great Service ! Quick service ! Delicious choices ! We brought our grandkids and they loved it. Cleaned their plate and we did too! So glad that they are open on Sundays now!!

First thing I noticed is that I really liked the style and environment of the restaurant, it was relaxing and cozy. The service was great, the workers were kind, professional and accurate. I ordered the chopped steak w fried okra and mashed potatoes, which were amazing. I also ordered the pecan pie which ended up being the best pecan pie I've ever tried. I was wanting to go to Dahlias Cafe since before I moved to Liberty Hill and It was everything I hoped it would be. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Bring your appetite because there's a lot of food at this place to eat that are good support local businesses

This place is a marvelous gem! We were seated right away and our server greeted us right away. It is a country like ambiance with friendly people and great service. Parking was very easy to find but sometimes it gets packed. The wait is not long if at all. The food was wonderful too! We started with the onion rings they came with ranch and it was very tasty. They were thick and we ate them with a fork and knife. Not much later our entrees arrived and they came in a good amount of time. I asked the server if they had pumpkin pancakes and he said no but we have an appleacian pancake and I said I 'll get that! When it came it did not disappoint! I would definitely recommend getting them since they are not on the menu. My husband got the Bird and Biscuit and it was a huge hit with him. The whole meal he kept saying how good the food was. We will definitely be returning here to try more! Next time I 'll save room for pie.
