Bidrage med feedbackAs soon as we arrived, this restaurant was our first choice since the alternatives were a diner that serves only breakfast and lunch and a hotel that also has limited hours. We needed to pop into the minimart next door for some fishing bait, and since we were there, we decided to grab breakfast burritos, as fishing starts ridiculously early. While we were at it, I also ordered a pulled pork sandwich. To my surprise, the sandwich was outstanding! It wasn’t just a standard fast-food creation; it felt crafted, like something you'd find in a high-end restaurant in San Francisco or Los Angeles. The flavors were incredible, the vegetables were crispy, the bread tasted fresh, and you could see the smoker right outside. Even the burritos, which I ended up eating cold at 4 AM the next morning, were delicious. I regretted not ordering two of them. For lunch that day, we returned, and I treated myself to two sandwiches, much to the cashier’s surprise. We came back the following day as well for the pork belly BLTs. Every sandwich was absolutely amazing and tasted like something I’d expect to pay $15 to $20 for in a bigger city. The service was quick, and the staff was genuinely friendly. They also have a nice selection of beers, so you can enjoy a gourmet sandwich with a good drink while seated outside. Plus, they offer espresso drinks and soda for those who prefer them. There’s plenty of parking available, and they accept credit cards too. If you live anywhere nearby, you should definitely give this place a try. Order any sandwich, as they’re all fantastic. If they have a special, those are particularly worth trying. One of my biggest regrets is not getting a rack of ribs when I had the chance. Although I don’t live close by and may not have the opportunity to return, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if I find myself in the area again.
We visited twice: once for lunch and once for breakfast. The mountain Philly steak sandwiches were amazing, served on a toasted roll and overflowing with tasty meat, peppers, and cheese. Be sure to ask for some sauce on the side; the Carolina mustard, BBQ, and aïoli are excellent additions. On our way out, we picked up a breakfast burrito that had salsa inside, and we chose smoked sausage as our meat option. They kindly cut it in half for us, so my husband and I shared one. It was definitely one of the best breakfast burritos we've ever had—the salsa had just the right amount of kick and was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend grabbing a big burrito on your way out, especially for a day of fishing!
