I thought the first time might have been in error, but tried another one today and it wasn't toasted. Try eating an English muffinthat has not been toasted, not good. Come on Amatos, you can do better than that.
I bought three chicken salad IT and there was barely no chicken salad and didn't get everything right
My husband ordered a pasta dinner and a poorboy sandwich. Just twenty minutes later, right as he was about to head out to pick up the order, Amato's called to let us know that they were out of pasta and hadn’t even begun preparing our order. This was, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing and unprofessional customer service experiences I've encountered in quite a while. Congratulations, Amato's; you've lost my business for good.
I ordered a ham Italian sandwich and specifically requested no onions or green peppers. When I got home, I found it loaded with those ingredients. I politely called the restaurant and spoke to a male employee, who told me that he couldn’t issue a refund because I left with my sandwich without complaining. But how was I supposed to know they put those items on my food? I asked for his name and his manager's name, but I was told they don't have a manager and he refused to give me his name. I am completely disgusted with this company and will never spend my money there again.
That's a wrap! This is my second time having an issue with this restaurant. After getting home, I realized that we had overpaid. Today, we ordered spaghetti and meatballs with two extra meatballs, which we paid for but didn’t receive. We could go back to ask for a refund, but that sounds like too much trouble. I think I’ll just move on to other places.
