Good food good service, friendly staff. Fish and chips very good.

Fish 'n ' chip place with a relaxed casual/family atmosphere. When you walk through the old, English phonebooth style doors, you 're greeted by a the famous English mini car (not for sale), a bar with a friendly host, and a life sized cut out of the late QEII. The service on this day was exceptional. The beer was ice cold. The food had much more potential, and was not well prepared on this day, to include the soggy fries, that looked more like a pile of bits of fries, and the pulverized breaded coconut shrimp and crab cake. OMG, was that crab cake pulverized! The coleslaw was not the typical, highly creamy/overly sweet coleslaw that is generally served in the US, and that was a good thing... unfortunately, the portion was tiny. I 'd guess that Chef Ramsay would 've given the food a 1/5 overall, because at least the beer battered fish was well prepared.

You could be forgiven for thinking you are in London. The best fish and chips in the US.

I usually just get a large fried fish to share. This time we tried the clam chowder, some tandoori chicken and then of some fish. Not to forget the cole slaw. The clam chowder is gourmet quality. Not some glop thrown together with salt like at a diner. This stuff is DEE LISH USS!!!! They make it with white wine and herbs and they don’t skimp on the clams! Their cole slaw is so good. The chicken tandoori was pretty good. As usual the fish and chips excellent! Great service too!!!
