Cote Port - Les Sables-d'Olonne

We have dinner next to the port one evening in August. A few worries on startup because after being installed, no one seems to take care of us...Command taken, nice surprise on the plates: high quality of the products and very good! I strongly recommend the sauerkraut of the sea: a pure treat, even in August! a little regret: the service is a little long (2 hours for an aperitif followed by the dish.) we are on holiday, it is no big !bravo for the quality of the meal.

One evening of August in the family looking for a restaurant or dinner we fell by chance on the restaurant "côté port." very good surprise! clean place, friendly setting, efficient service, smiling staff, fresh seafood.

When arriving at 9:50, alone to eat, I ask if we are still serving (although the kitchens should not close until 10 pm), the service hesitates so I tell him that I intend to take only a large salad...I was served very quickly, which is not without unpleasant to me, and the salad was really beautiful and good. quality mozzarella, a good lawyer etc. However, I only note the size of the salad in a large hollow plate, the shrimp should have been peeled. It costs nothing to the staff in the kitchen and allows customers not to have to put hands in the plate or lose half the chair to fight with the knife and fork. But most importantly, the time to eat my salad, a table of 4 and a table of 3 was installed in front of me... and they didn't take a salad. Not very pleasant. However, I recommend the place for the quality of the plate (at least the great salads for what I know.) next time, I will take more time to discover the cooked dishes and desserts.
