Café Kuhnen - Lenk im Simmental

Amazing selection of fresh pastries and cakes so difficult to choose! We tried the quarktaschen, gipfeli and pfirschplunder which were all great! They have sandwiches to go as well for those looking for pick nic lunch, as well as a sitting area where you can get drinks, from light lunches (kasekuchen, omelletes) to full meals (e.g alpenmagronen) all in very reasonable prices. We liked it so much we even bought some things to eat when back home. 100 recommended!

Stopped here for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and wide variety of pastries and desserts available. Nice cozy place, recommend since it's the only one around. I did think 5 CHI was a little expensive though.

We stopped by after a hike in the area. Service was good and the food delicious. We had coffee and bakery sweets. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and I took a loaf of bread to go. Delish.

We visited the bakery on our walk back to hotel and had quick snacks and coffee. Staff was very kind and service was fast.

A visit is worth it, be it for fresh brot, occupied brötli or the excellent patisserie and cake. everything is always fresh and good.
