Lawry's The Prime Rib - Las Vegas

I went to a Christmas company dinner. The food and staff were great. I look forward to going again.

If you like warm cozy and good ol fashioned upscale...then this is it. They could have better vegetarian options. But overall a lovely place for a date night or dinner with friends where no one can wear tennis shoes. An excuse to dress nice and eat good food

Im a little torn because this has been an annual thing visiting this restaurant around xmas for quite some time. Ive always loved coming here around the holidays with the exception of this trip. Ive noticed since covid alot of places having issues with staffing so im willing to give it a pass this time. Upon sitting down we were greeted and brought water. There was lipstick all over my water glass. It was promptly replaced once I said something but no apology. I then ordered half a dozen oysters as an appetizer. I noticed a food runner hit 2 tables before ours with the oysters before finally settling at ours. Once dropped they were a full dozen (i ordered a half) i waited a good 7-10 min before our server came back to which he just looked annoyed and took them away returning roughly 15min later with our half dozen. Salad service was flawless and perfect. The Prime Rib Cart arrives and we receive our cuts and sides. The cart is sloppy with bits of sides just strewn about. Very unappetizing. Other than that the prime rib was ok, not the best Ive had there. The assistant to the serve was spot on except never bringing ice for our water or iced tea. 1st 5/10 experience of all the 10/10 experiences going there the last decade or so. Hopefully next year is better?

Great place, great atmosphere, great service. reasonable price to be honest.
