Koi Las Vegas

We went to Koi on our last night in town, our server was super nice and attentive! Some of our drinks/food were taking a bit longer to come out, which was fine with us because we were talking and catching up with friends, but they made sure to make up for the delay which we appreciated! Sushi was really good so were the desserts.

Went to eat dinner at Koi Restaurant in Planet Hollywood and everything about our dining experience was exceptional. Food and service were top tier.

I came here with a small group on a Wednesday night before a show. Not too crowded, and the ambiance inside was pleasant and not loud. The servers and hostesses were great but it took an extremely long time to get our drinks, and the sushi came out first. The presentation was great, but I didn't think the sushi was anything to write home about and the flavor felt a bit lackluster.

Pros: Excellent attentive service and a very romantic atmosphere in the bar. Happy hour was great. Drinks were delicious. Dessert (flourless torte) was probably one of the best I've had.Cons: Food was good but was expecting a little higher quality. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed it and would go there again.

5pm, the place was 75% empty and I had a reservation. When I got there they refused to give me a table and shuffled me into the bar. I was told single diners cannot have a table. There are many single people here for conferences. What are we supposed to do, eat at the food court? So, instead of dinner I had a happy hour appetizer and a glass of water and then left and went elsewhere. Creamy Shrimp Tempura was okay but nothing special. The staff had a entitled attitude.
