Antica Trattoria Due Colonne

We were on our first day of touring and found this trattoria offering gluten-free pasta, so we checked it out. It was cooler inside than the blazing Rome day we'd stepped out of, so we appreciated the respite and a glass of wine. Our server was helpful with ordering gf and explaining all their options in flawless English. The burrata appetizer was good and fresh. I had the carbonara with gf pasta, and the husband of mine had their homemade pasta and pesto sauce. Everything was really good, especially for just spontaneously picking this place off the street. It was a lucky find, and we'd definitely dine here again if visiting Rome.
