Steuerbord - Langeoog

Disaster from the begging on, about service unprofesionalism. After minimum 40 min waiting our order come wrong and not completely. Food was nothing special, pork schnitzel very small portion. After paying the bill, the waitress even didn't say bye or have a good evening. Unfriendly service and not nice dining expirience.

Ordered the rösti and pizza. Better than other places but not amazing. Decorations not my style but clean and professional.

Sat down to a meal at Steuerbord with my wife and our stroller-bound baby. We showed up at 17:00hrs and were able to walk right in. They were happy to accommodate our need for space for the stroller. We were served by what seamed like a rotating string of staff all of whom were courteous if maybe not entirely attentive. The food was delicious; I had the Jager Schnitzel and the wife had some form of Spaghetti with what looked like the works thrown on it, and the portions were hearty (verging on daunting). It was great to see other people with kids in the place, all seated comfortably and having a great time and even noticed the staff going out of their way to assist a wheelchair-bound customer. All in all, a good, relaxed night out, highly recommended! My final word: it sounds so wrong, but try the 'Black Banana', a concoction of dark beer and banana syrup...

We went there twice, once for coffee and cake and another time for dinner. Food was excellent on both occassions and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is also very nice. Servings are huge.The young lady who served us on both occassions was obviously lacking training. Both times she forgot orders and misunderstood things. When we pointed it out to her, she reacted in a kind of snippy way. However, dining was pleasant and we would go there again. Their cakes are particularly good, really worth a coffee stop.

By phone we asked in advance whether it is possible to get vegan food. the employee showed himself friendly and optimistic. I was offered a rösti that is always vegan and is served in the regular with vegetarian (tomate mozzarella) or fish toppings. I have it with fried vegetables (paprika, wobble, zuccini) and a tomato sauce. the price I paid was cheaper than the vegetarian rösti. the dish was a bit too fat, but still delicious. I ordered another little salad. that was with a lot of sweet, fresh salad leaves and delicious vegan dressing. very nice staff
