The okra was way too slimy. I understand that it can be easy to overcook okra, but it was so soft that I could barely pick it up with a fork, though I did try my best to eat it. However, that part was actually tasty. The cabbage also lacked any real taste, so I had to add hot sauce to make it more enjoyable. The cornbread muffin was quite good, though. I'm planning to give the place another shot, maybe during lunch. I visited around 3:45/4, and as someone who loves Southern cooking, I’m glad there’s a place for it in the area. Perhaps this was just an off day. Also, keep in mind that they charge a 4% surcharge for debit card transactions. There are plenty of vegetarian side options available, which is a plus.

The food was satisfyingly delicious and comforting. The buffet offered a wide variety of meat and vegetable options. While they do have a menu, I opted for the buffet. As for wheelchair accessibility, there's ample open space, but assistance would be needed to navigate the buffet. Overall, I enjoyed my dine-in lunch experience.
