Fire Pit At Merriman's - Lahaina

We stayed in Wailea but decided to drive to Kapalua to dine at Merriman's, and it was a fantastic choice! From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was outstanding. First, the views were absolutely breathtaking! The staff was professional, courteous, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. Our 4-year-old daughter fell asleep during the car ride to the restaurant, so my husband and I took turns holding her. The staff kindly offered to push some chairs together so we could lay her down comfortably, which really impressed us. The drink selection was extensive, and the food menu was equally impressive. I ordered fish that was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection! Our daughter woke up just in time to enjoy the decadent chocolate dessert! We highly recommend Merriman's!

Beautiful restaurant, service second to none, our waiter was exceptional. The kitchen is letting the team down at the moment. Food is okay, nothing is really worth the price tag. Fish could have been fresher, everything needed seasoning, everything needs to be hotter as it’s coming out of the kitchen cold. You’re paying for the view here, not the food. We were grateful for my Mums birthday touch.

The prices are quite high, with the ribeye costing $89, but it was delicious and tender. The salads were good, priced under $30. I didn't try the $24 Mai Tai. The service from the waiter was satisfactory. The location is fantastic.

The ambience is amazing, from the soothing music played by an unknown (but talented) guitarist to the stunning visuals of an unforgettable sunset. The service was exceptionally professional without being overbearing. The food? Seasoned to perfection and hot upon delivery (I know this may not sound like a big deal, but it is to me. I can't tell you how many times I've received food that was lukewarm when served which for me ruined the meal). My girlfriend boldly claimed that her fish a Macadamia nut crusted white fish was the best she's ever had, and I couldn't have disagreed. The negative? There was no room dessert.

One of the best location on Maui. The good and service is 5 star . Nothing to do but enjoy life here!
