La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe

Good service and good food. Went here to meet some friends over coffee and cakes after a long time. They have ample seating arrangements and they are following all Covid precautions. Their menu is elaborate and there is a lot to try. We got their double hot and cold mocha, hot chocolate, chocolate croissant and chocolate tarts. The coffee was good and so were the desserts. The hot chocolate comes with whipped Cream and that makes it taste good but it's a lot of sweetness, at times. The mocha was nice and frothy. The servers are friendly and they make sure they answer all your queries. We had a great time.

Today, I went because I really enjoyed my last visit. Today I went by myself, and I was beyond extremely disappointed. The guy who waited on me was extremely rude and really insulted my intelligence instead of being helpful to me. I ordered a Croque monsieur sandwich and when I went with the friend a couple months ago it was wonderful today it was smothered in cheese on both sides top and bottom with very little in the middle and it was terrible. It was definitely not worth the $17 I had to spend on it. And just a sliver of coconut cake was almost $6.00. That is accounted for in the $17, but it was definitely not worth the money. I will give it one more shot but I definitely do not want to sandwich like I had today although I do want to order the same item. Last time the bread was better dump outside and all the cheese was in the middle which was fantastic. What I got today looked like chip cheese on toast and I am beyond disappointed ????

The atmosphere was loved, the music perfect,the tone is set to unwind and enjoy... The seating allowed for a solo or double dining as well as a round table of rummy players... Stop in ????

Not impressed by fanfare! Overpriced for small portions. Plus, my coffee was only warm and when I asked if it could be heated, all he did was fiddle with the pot and told me to try again; it was still just warm

The food was good, service was great. Two of our water cups were dirty?. The great customer service made up for it.
