Bj's Brewhouse - Lafayette

I asked the waiter if they had Latte coffee. He said no only regular coffee. Later I saw on the menu they did have lattes! We had about a 45 minute wait for our food but he did bring the children’s food a bit sooner. One of our group ordered steak and an extra of garlic butter. His food was served without and it was a small portion. Two of us ordered fish and chips. They forgot to bring the chips on one plate so we had to ask for them. The fish and chips was served on what looked like a small metal baking tray. Not very appealing. There was so much batter on the fish and it all had a very bitter taste. Overall the food was very disappointing. The manager took the fish and chips off our bill. Food is very mediocre and service slow. I would not return.

I made a reservation on line and still had to wait. A couple came in after I sat for 15 minutes and was sat immediately. I went and spoke with the greater and then was sat at a table. The table was wet and had food left on it (dirty) I asked the woman seating us if she could please wipe the table, she did and the table was still wet and the food was still on the table. It was very visible. I went to the front and asked for a towel to clean the table and the young woman handed the towel to me without apologizing or giving me eye contact. We waited 45 to 50 minutes to be served. Although, our waiter was kind he kept forgetting parts of our order by the end of my visit we had been at BJ’S almost 2 hours. This was my first time visiting Louisiana Lafayette and if I ever visit again I will be sure not to stop by this BJ’S.

Great day specialties at a great price with excellent martinis.

Our first time dining here. Huge menu that is moderately priced. Great drinks. Reservations strongly suggested during peak hours. Plenty of parking.
